The Breakaway Music Festival began in Columbus, OH, in 2013 and quickly grew into a two-day, multiple stage festival bringing exceptional names like Chance The Rapper and Kendrick Lamar to the Midwest. Lineups and tickets for the remaining festival in California to be announced in the coming weeks. Friday and Saturday single day passes to go on-sale at a later date. In addition to the stellar lineup, Breakaway will have onsite activations at each festival including the Corona Electric Beach, silent disco, a roller rink, rides, local art, and more, taking its unique, all encompassing music experience to a whole new level. Previous years were held at the Ohio Expo Center. has drawn attention from Billboard and Pollstar and selling over 200,000 tickets in 2021. Multi-city music festival Breakaway has announced its 2022 lineup for its Ohio stop. The Breakaway Music Festival will kick off in Kansas City on August 5th and 6th before traveling to Michigan on August 19th and 20th, Ohio on August 26-28th, North Carolina on September 30th and October 1st, and California on October 14th and 15th.
